One day in the morning Manna came from heaven. Can you imagine? Manna (food) from heaven. What does this mean? What was God getting at? He was trying to tell us that we must depend on God for everything. He was also telling us that every day we must go to communion.
He called Simon Peter and three other people to be his apostles. Simon Peter said, “Leave me Lord, for I am a sinful man.”We are the same. We have been chosen by Jesus to do a certain job. But are we up to it? Can we stick it out? The road is long and the mountain is steep. How many weary days and nights we have to go through to get to heaven?
This Ark prefigures the tabernacle, which is in every Catholic church. When we go to any Catholic church, we can talk to Jesus in the tabernacle. Today we don’t have to go to the Sinai. We don’t have to climb the mountain. We don’t have to go to Egypt. We just go to the Catholic church. Heaven is in the Catholic church. God dwells there. This is the biggest gift to mankind.
our whole lives are a Passover, because the basic meaning of Passover is to go from earth to heaven. And that after all is the real meaning of life. That is to say we want to go from this earth to heaven. We all have dreams and the most wonderful dream is to get to heaven. This is what we are all striving for.
