GOOD FRIDAY OF THE LORD'S PASSION 2026-04-03

 On the night of Passover,

Judas Iscariot, is bribed by Caiaphas and the Pharisees with thirty pieces of silver and betray Jesus' identity.

Judas identified Jesus to the crowd armed with swords by giving him a kiss on the cheek,

which resulted in Jesus' arrest, subsequent trial, and crucifixion.

HOLY THURSDAY OF THE LORD'S SUPPER 2026-04-02

 "As I have done for you, you should also do,"

Jesus Christ spoken after he washed his disciples' feet during the Last Supper.

It serves as a mandate for humility, servant leadership, and self-sacrificial love,

instructing followers to emulate his actions of serving others without condition.

 Immediately after Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead,

Jesus brought life in many ways, Through His death,

“to gather together in unity the scattered children of God.”

 Jesus claimed to be one with God in the sense of being equal to Him,

equal power with God. I told you, and you do not believe.

The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me.

Blasphemy was a crime punishable by death according to the Jewish Law.

Immediately after Judas Iscariot took the bread from Jesus at the Last Supper,

Satan entered him to fulfill the betrayal, prompting Jesus to say, "What you are about to do, do quickly".

Where Jesus identifies his betrayer by offering him a dipped morsel of bread.

 Mary pouring expensive perfume on Jesus' feet,

Jesus defends her by saying, "She bought it so that she might keep it for the day of my burial,"

Here is my servant

He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets.

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.

In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;

he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth.

The "I Am" Claim: Jesus is identifying himself as the Messiah and claiming divinity.

they will die unforgiven, facing eternal separation from God.
