" Come to me, all you who are weary  and burdened, and i will give you rest."

Jesus offers this profound invitation to anyone who is exhausted by life's struggles,

inviting them to lay down their heavy loads and find deep peace for their souls.

If you are carrying heavy burdens or feeling weary, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Jesus replied that wedding guests cannot fast

while the bridegroom is with them.

Comparing Himself to the bridegroom,

He explained that His presence was a time for celebration, not mourning.

He added that there will be a time when the bridegroom

is taken away, and then His disciples will fast.

The "bridegroom" represents Jesus Himself,

and the time he is "taken away" points to His crucifixion and ascension.

We need to remember His words, "Without Me you can do nothing."

He was God Almighty. "According to your faith let it be to you."

We know we can find the Lord in His Word, He is really there and that He can help us.

Perhaps we are ust like the leper. We long for the Lord's help.
