Those who do the will of the Father will, Simply offering lip service to faithfulness is not enough.
Witnessing to our faith with our lives is necessary.

What are we waiting for? Advent is patience, longing, and anticipation.
Isaiah tells us that “Yahweh Sabaoth will prepare for all peoples a feast of rich food and choice wines, meat full of marrow, fine wine!”
We realize that Jesus is the true food, the true “Bread from heaven” that truly satisfies!

列印 The listening seemed to be frightening and sinister, Then great suffering will reign all over.
Jesus’ prediction that the temple will be destroyed . and the destruction of Jerusalem.
Jesus does not say these things to frighten us, but to prepare us. Our proper response is not to be terrified.
This “one like a son of man”is given “everlasting dominion,”
shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High” --- peace and justice.

Are we going to be afraid of the second coming of Christ?
The gospel tells us to stand erect and hold our heads high for our deliverance is at hand.

"The days are coming
列印 The temple, the disciples see the external adornment, but fail to see the spiritual bankruptcy
behind the façade – the hypocrisy – the oppression the rejection of the Messiah.
No earthly kingdom can last, not even the temple will last forever.
The Temple of Jerusalem during Jesus’ time as the center of the southern kingdom’s spiritual life,
Yet Jesus correctly foretold its destruction.
That’s why we have to be on guard that our faith remains steady and strong through time.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Andrew, one of the twelve Apostles.
Saint Andrew is the disciple in the New Testament.
He brings his brother Peter to Jesus,
He brings the boy with the five loaves and the two fish. bringing people to Jesus.
Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee and saw Andrew and Simon Peter fishing.
It is then he asked the two to become disciples and "fishers of men."

You are saved if you confess
列印 The widow gives everything she has to live off of that day.
She contributes all she has for the good of others.
The role models in Scripture are not the rich and the powerful, but those who, despite their humility and challenges, remain faithful to the Lord.
Jesus promises, “Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you” (Matthew 6:4).
