22ND WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME SEPTEMBER 06 Friday

列印 列印

All is made new by God who meets us where we are.

The old wineskins of the old Testament did not manage to accommodate the new wine of Jesus’s message.

"But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast."

Sometimes, it is getting rid of someone, especially the poor,

Jesus wants us to feast with Him through the needy – not get rid of Him.

In spiritual journey, one must walk the path by oneself.

One must generate the oil of perseverance and commitment by oneself.

Others can only stand by, counsel, and encourage.

You must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.

We prepare for the Second Coming by increasing our testimony

and conversion through daily righteousness.
